Slime Care

Please read all instructions before playing with your slime to ensure proper use and safety, and maximum enjoyment.

WARNINGS:

•SLIME IS NOT EDIBLE! DO NOT CONSUME.

•KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN, PETS, SOFT FURNITURE, AND CLOTHING.

•VINEGAR OR LEMON JUICE CAN HELP DISSOLVE SLIME IF CONTACT WITH FABRIC OCCURS; PLEASE FOLLOW PROPER CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR EFFECTED ITEM.

•SLIME CAN CONTAIN SMALL PARTS! ALL SLIMES WITH ADD-INS CAN HAVE FALL-OUT, ESPECIALLY IF OVER-ACTIVATED. PLEASE BE ATTENTIVE TO POTENTIAL CHOKING HAZARDS OR ACCIDENTAL CONSUMPTION.

 HOW TO MAKE ACTIVATOR SOLUTION:

•Dissolve 1 teaspoon borax in 1 cup (235 ml) of warm water. Stir until fully dissolved. This is your activator solution. Add only a few drops or sprays at a time until desired activation level is reached, mixing well between each addition. Store solution in a clearly marked container! Save remaining solution for future use. DO NOT ADD BORAX POWDER DIRECTLY TO SLIME!

 CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

•Always play with your slime on a clean surface. Always wash hands before and after playing with slime. Clean hands will help extend the life and quality of your slime. The ingredients in slime should never come into contact with the eyes or mouth. Prolonged contact with the ingredients in slime can dry – and in rare cases, potentially irritate – your skin. Therefore it is also important to wash hands after playing with slime. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.

•Slimes may contain: Glue, borax, glycerin, lotion, fragrance oil, essential oils, food color, (non-toxic) watercolor paints, etc. PLEASE DO NOT USE IF ALLERGIES ARE PRESENT.

•Always store your slime in an airtight container, and in a cool location.

•If your slime is sticky: Slowly add one spray/ a few drops of activator at a time until desired consistency is reached. Adding too much will make your slime stiff. Slime may arrive sticky if it gets too warm during transit. Follow above instructions to reactivate. Some individuals with especially warm hands may have more trouble with slime becoming sticky; try placing your slime in the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes before play.

•If your slime is stiff: Slime can become hardened and rip easily in cold temperatures. It may help to warm your hands, place slime in a bowl of warm water (while in a tightly sealed container), or other warm - not hot - location.

•If your slime has been overactivated, you may try adding a bit of lotion or glycerin. Please note that lotion will fog clear slimes. Slime will naturally deactivate over time - if nothing else works, time may be all you need. Use activator solution when needed to reactivate. Slime does not last forever, but following proper slime care guidelines will allow maximum enjoyment.
